Maintenance Worker

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

The maintenance worker is responsible for the general property upkeep of 604 affiliated buildings and surrounding grounds. While working around restaurant operational hours, the maintenance worker fulfills general repairs and routine maintenance on building systems. Tasks include painting, assembling, fixing, and cleaning equipment, furniture, landscape, and decor, in and around the facility as directed by the Facility Maintenance and Safety Manager, working closely with the General Manager of the assigned facility.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follows all company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook and the “General Policies and Procedures.”
  • Follows all work safety procedures, including reporting to the manager of any on-property injury, potential work hazards, or damage to property. 
  • Maintain outside grounds.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of company furniture, fixtures, decor, and equipment as needed.  
  • Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris.
  • Take out and empty trash.
  • Change light bulbs.
  • Pressure wash stairs, mats, walk areas, etc.
  • Touch up paint and clean walls.
  • Maintain and clean proper signage.
  • Submit receipts for any work-related purchases in a timely manner for reimbursement.
  • All other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest and manager satisfaction.
  • Must be efficient and accurate with money and figures.
  • Must possess the manual ability to manipulate the POS and Time Clock systems.
  • Must be able to pass food safety training.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
